Critical thought | No. 1

For those with strong beliefs and convictions - especially relating to anything organic.

Every idea can be questioned and every conviction can be disputed. History shows that what you believe to be a fact can often be proven to be wrong or untrue, usually in the name of science. This post is not so much about whether you, or I, for that matter believe that organic food is better but it is about critically reflecting over your own convictions. There will in most cases, especially regarding facts that are not 'universal', exist some studies or proof that contradict your beliefs.

I believe that organic food is better for us. I therefore do not take this article too seriously because it seems somewhat less serious and less scientific. However, what if it had been a study conducted over several years with larger sample groups across different countries and the conclusion was the same as in this study, namely that organic food is not better than non organic food? Would you be able to alter you belief if you were convinced that the opposite was true?
