(Eco) Sex and the City?

"You drive a hybrid. Your home recycling system is state of the art. You buy nothing but organic produce." This is how Stefanie Iris Weiss starts her new book Eco-Sex: Go green behind the sheets and make your love life sustainable. She continues buy saying: "If you haven't considered greening your sex life you're still a total environmental disaster".
I guess this is something all my fellow green neophytes ought to think about.
The book covers a range of more general topics of how to live a greener life such as eco-friendly clothing and lingerie, cosmetics and food recipes. These topics are all linked to the main message of the book: how to make your love life greener. Weiss takes us to a world of biodegradable condoms, green sexy bling and eco-friendly toys. She urges us to buy flowers for our lover from your own back-yard or at least the local farmer's market. There is also a bit on yoga positions for better sex and the best cities to find single greenies.

This sounds like amusing and light reading, but Weiss does also discuss some serious questions such as the increasing problem of overpopulation in the world. The greenest solution might just be to not have any babies...

This book will be available from amazon on the 30th of March and I have already ordered myself a copy.
